Whether you are a beginner or have some experience in ceramics, our class is designed to accommodate varying skill levels. This hands-on experience offers an introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel and handbuilding techniques! The class duration is 90-120 minutes and has step-by-step instruction for two pieces, one using handbuilding techniques and one pre-centered wheel-thrown piece. Each student will have the option to choose one glaze color per piece for the studio to glaze for them.

Pieces will be fired and ready for pick up within 3-4 weeks.

All materials and tools needed for the class are provided, including clay, sculpting tools, glazes, and kiln firing services. Participants are encouraged to bring their creative ideas and experiment with different forms and styles under the guidance of our instructors.
